EPVS, Elena Panarella Vimercati Sanseverino

EPVS, Elena Panarella Vimercati Sanseverino, born in Germany but active in Rome, is a versatile artist. You have experimented with all kinds and forms of visual expression: from sculpture to photography, from neon to interactive and relational installations.
EPVS is inspired by the contrasts and relationships between people, in nature and in space; the interactions between them constitute the fulcrum of her work. Time and space are themes that mark the path and evolution of her work. The relationship between the artist, her art and the viewer is fundamental for the artist. In line with Schiller's thought that "a human being is completely human only when he plays", EPVS believes that the simplest way to communicate is through play, which places art at the center.
Among the personal exhibitions that you have made, we highlight: Bilotti Museum in Rome, Palazzo Collicola Visual Arts in Spoleto, Palazzo della Penna Museum in Perugia, Palazzo Ziino Museum in Palermo, Macro Museum in Rome. EPVS has also carried out several interventions at the MAAM in Rome, at the DIF Diffused Museum in Formello and at Cittadellarte - Fondazione Pistoletto. Two large EPVS installations were presented at the BIAS Biennale of Sacred Art in Venice and at the Palazzo Riso Museum in Palermo. Most of EPVS's exhibitions have taken place abroad and her work is featured in many private and public collections.
