Pierluigi Slis
Slis's research explores themes related to the psychological and social processes that permeate human existence and action. Using tools such as painting, environmental composition, social action, or video, he creates open works, sometimes ephemeral, characterized by a certain intolerance towards norms, aestheticisms, and formalisms. His aim is to evoke an emotional resonance, a point of questioning that invites individuals to rediscover self-awareness.
Pierluigi Slis, born in 1974 in Wuppertal, Germany, lives and works in Revine Lago.
Since 2009, he has exhibited in Italy and abroad in solo shows and Site-Specific installations: Somewhere in Berlin - Teatro Verdi and Teatro Zancanaro, Pordenone – Christine Frechard Gallery, Pittsburgh (USA) - European Parliament, Brussels (B) - Comodamente Festival, Vittorio Veneto - Einfarth freihalten, 16 Alfieri, Turin - Kunstraum B, Kiel (D) - Vergrabene Wünsche, Gängeviertels, Hamburg (D) - Menchen.
