Triennale Milano pays tribute to the Milanese architect and designer Angelo Mangiarotti (1921-2012) by presenting the exhibition "Quando le strutture prendono forma" from 27 January to 23 April 2023, , curated by Fulvio Irace, with Francesca Albani, Franz Graf (architecture section), Luca Pietro Nicoletti (sculpture section), Marco Sammicheli (design section), and with the support of Giulio Barazzetta.
The exhibition is organized in collaboration with the Angelo Mangiarotti Foundation, which has made the resources of its archive available. The exhibition design is by Ottavio Di Blasi & Partners, with the participation of Renzo Piano.
Angelo Mangiarotti. When the structures take shape is one of the most complete and exhaustive retrospectives ever made on the figure of the Milanese architect and traces over 60 years of activity through a wide selection of works, projects, documents and materials, many of which have never been exhibited before.
