Glenda Cinquegrana Art Consulting is glad to present Eroticism in Fashion Photography, the double show dedicated to Helmut Newton and Ellen von Unwerth. In this show, the two photographers, connected by the common thread of eroticism and sensuality as elements characterizing their very personal vision of fashion and celebrity photography, are juxtaposed in a sort of dialogue. The show containing more than 20 vintage B/N and colour images spanning from the 70s to the 2000s, consists of a selection of portraits of supermodels and celebrities, landscapes and polaroids.

By Helmut Newton we are showing some vintage photos from the 70s to the 2000s drawn from the famous portfolios Rosalyn at Arcangue from the 70s up to Woman on a Level Four shot in Montecarlo in the 2000s; a portrait of Ava Gardner from the 70s up to one of Kristen McMenamy from the 90s; finally a snapshot from the series Sex & Landscapes ends the display.

On show there are also some prints by Ellen von Unwerth from the artist's studio among which a very famous portrait of Claudia Schiffer for Guess from the '90s, some snapshots of supermodels Naomi Campbell and Linda Christy; an iconic still of Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel; some significant images from the series Revenge, up to the iconic colour pictures of the years 2000s.
The narrative of eros and the woman underlying the images of the two auteurs are the true protagonists of the exhibition. Helmut Newton in the 80s realized the double take Sie Kommen (Naked/Dressed) putting no longer at the centre of the picture a dressed woman, but a female body strongly meaningful of the woman's personality, which is also capable of building a scandalous and powerful narrative of femininity, gaining power on its same body, on media. Newton's narrative can give visual substance to a universe of desire, where women are for the first-time protagonists willing and free to interpret the dreams, they create themselves. Departing from this vision, photographers from the following generations, such as Ellen von Unwerth, have broadened even more the story which, around women and desire, has become more and more imaginative. Von Unwerth mixes freely erotism and sense of humour, in a concoction which turns out to be explosive.

Le Monde is a symbol of winemaking excellence and tradition in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Founded in 2008 through the entrepreneurial vision of Alex Maccan, it extends over 160 hectares, 100 of which are vineyards. The winery stands out for its production of single-varietal wines, exalting native and international varieties with a presence in over 40 countries. Pinot Bianco, Friulano and Cabernet Franc are the perfect representation of this. Here, where the passion for wine is palpable in every phase of production, one encounters the Le Icone project, the pinnacle of Le Monde's style which represents a journey through history, territory, and quality.
