The inaugural exhibition of Rome Contemporary #6 is dedicated to the theme of Identities. The exhibition aims to explore the complex relationship between the individual, society, and the dynamics of contemporary cities. Through the selected artworks, it will analyze lifestyles and the diverse forms of being that unfold parallel to our daily existence. Everyday behaviors and practices emerge as a faithful reflection of the cities and societies we have constructed, which, in turn, have shaped personal identity. This unprecedented urban character establishes itself as a new order that profoundly influences and modifies our everyday lives.
The exhibiting artists, hailing from Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States, Japan, Indonesia, South Korea, Australia, China, Central and South America, Canada and Saudi Arabia have chosen art as their primary means of expressing their worldview. Free from the constraints of rigid definitions, they offer us a kaleidoscope of perspectives, through which we can glimpse the richness and fluidity of the human experience.
Artists: Seema Alabdulhai, Marlene Amort, Marita Barragan, Helene Brinzas, Lorraine Brown-Glessner, Justin Chan, Antonia Vera Illingworth, Christine Kingerski, Christian Kleiman, Rebeccah Klodt, Alfredo Laporta, Tony Lian, Michael Lin, Hanna Liubinskaya, Fiona Livingstone, Marcus Luconi, Gertrude Lozeau, Nicole Martinelli, Eve Methot, Sandra Meyer, Ana Nobre, Katerina Panaretou, Lin Pin, Miguel Raymond, Crissy Renée, Giulia Rizzotti, Rosalorenza, Roger Schultz, Anne Swift, Josefina Temin, Miriam Vlaming, Neryhs Wo.
