Castello di Rivoli - Museum of Contemporary Art

The Castello di Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art has the historical and cultural mission of promoting research and understanding of the art of our time.

The Museum guides this virtuous process by developing a coherent cultural and exhibition program, focused on the one hand on the promotion of its extraordinary collection and on the other on the organization of prestigious and wide-ranging temporary exhibitions.

One of the distinctive elements of Castello di Rivoli is the attention to the multiple expressive languages of the contemporary: the museum actively collaborates with other cultural institutions by hosting or carrying out joint initiatives, ranging from theatrical performances to concerts, from film and video reviews. artist to the series of meetings. It also promotes symposia and round tables dedicated to other artistic disciplines such as literature and music and to related scientific disciplines, such as restoration and conservation. Preserving and exhibiting works of art is a central mission but - alone - it is not enough to interpret the new functions and new objectives of the 21st century museum of contemporary art. The contemporary art museum must represent a place for meeting and confrontation, even outside its own walls.

The Ticket Office closes 15 minutes before the Museum closes.

Entrance

Single entrance ticket: 6.50 euros
Reduced: € 4.50 for 11-14 year olds, pensioners, teachers, students, military, cultural associations and affiliated entities, Pyou Card holders (young people between 15 and 29 years)
Free for children under 11, for the disabled and carers.

Reduced ticket for visitors who show the ticket of the Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi and vice versa.

Free admission for the holders of the Museum Subscription, Torino + Piemonte Card, Royal Card and Contemporary Card.

Residents of the City of Rivoli are entitled, upon presentation of a valid document, to free admission every third Saturday of the month.

Free guided tours

On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, the Education Department of the Museum organizes free guided visits to the temporary exhibitions and, in absence, to the Collection.

Saturdays at 3.30pm and 6pm, Sundays and holidays at 11am, 3pm and 6pm.

At 4.30 pm on Sundays and holidays there is a guided tour focused on the Savoy Residence
