Emanuela Cau

Emanuela Cau (Cagliari, 1971) is a photographer, director and actress. She dedicates the first part of her artistic activity to the theatrical and cinematographic fields by making various short films, collaborating as an assistant with many Sardinian directors, directing theatrical and musical videos and various commercials. She then turned her expressive research to photography following an intermediate approach that involves different languages and artistic techniques. You have participated with her works of hers in numerous solo and group exhibitions at a regional and national level. In 2021 you created the cover of the album "Madiba" by Sade Mangiaracina, commissioned by the artistic director of the Tuk Music label Paolo Fresu, and the cover of the book "Perdi la madre" by Saidiya Hartman.
