Jacopo Benassi

Jacopo Benassi is one of the greatest Italian artists of the last generations. Over the years he has exhibited in Italy and abroad in important museums and private galleries. He has collaborated with first-rate intellectuals and cultural personalities such as, to name a few, the director Paolo Sorrentino, Asia Argento, Maurizio Maggiani, with whom he has created books and projects of various kinds. His work ranges from photography, his chosen medium, to sculpture and installation, passing through publishing. In recent years he has been working with performance, creating shows presented at numerous festivals. Except for short periods, he has always kept his studio in La Spezia. Recently Jacopo Benassi
he is also engaged as a lecturer at prestigious universities such as the IUAV in Venice and the New Academy of Fine Arts NABA in Milan.
