R.E.M.I.D.A.

The REMIDA collective, born in 1997, deals with visualizing the alchemy of art through gold, working on new forms and installations with a strong component of design and recovery of materials and images and often highlighting, through the 'gold, problems with a strong ethical connotation.
The R.E.M.I.D.A. they began their exhibition activity in the eighties, nationally and internationally, participating individually, in groups and subsequently in symbiosis, in numerous artistic initiatives. Several of their works are part of the collection of the MAGA of Gallarate and of the Pinacoteca di Villa Soranzo in Varallo Pombia. In the nineties they gave birth to “Aquifante” in Busto Arsizio, a self-managed space, a gymnasium of ideas, art and culture, a place where young artists of great talent mixed with historicized artists and unforgettable figures such as Alda Merini.
After the closing of "Aquifante", in 2002, the R.E.M.I.D.A. decide to participate in a few selected exhibitions, with works in public, cultural spaces or in rare illuminated galleries, willing to exhibit non-profit art projects, as the works of R.E.M.I.D.A. they are not for sale and at the end of their natural exhibition cycle they are often dismantled and recycled to create new works, new projects, new messages. Since 2009 they have collaborated with the set designer Osvaldo Desideri (Oscar winner for "The Last Emperor" by Bernardo Bertolucci) for the creation of installations and works to be placed in the locations of some of his film projects.
