Join us for the opening reception of The Muddy Choir, solo show by Emily Jones. The exhibition will open this Friday, February 23, from 6.30 to 9.00 p.m.
The Muddy Choir will be on view until April 27, 2024.
Emily Jones operates at the junction of multiple fields : science, ecology, cosmology, architecture, technology, archaeology, geography, as well as history, memory and belief, which are viewed as interconnected strata. Jones works with sculpture, installation and performance. Recent solo exhibitions include: Antarctica from Space, Aquaporin N/S, Denmark (2022); tilt–elk–luck–warm, Veda, Florence, (2020); Snowshoe Hare and Allies, Almanac, London (2019); All god's children could be led astray, PINA, Vienna (2019); as a bird would a snake, Centre d'art Contemporain – La Synagogue de Delme, France (2019) and others. Her works has been included also in group shows such as: Anticorps, Palais de Tokyo, Paris (2020); Speculative Frictions, PDX Contemporary, Portland (2019); Tor, Frankfurt (2019) and others.
