Mark Cullen. Towards Super-Connection

First solo exhibition in Italy by Irish artist Mark Cullen, Towards Super-Connection, created with the generous support of the Irish Embassy and Culture Ireland and hosted from 28 January to 13 March 2022 at the Sala Camino of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Villa Croce, Genoa.

site-specific installation but also through the drawings on paper and the lightbox, both on display, a dystopian present where nature sublimates itself to the needs of a system of structures and constructive forms: a changing system where the model exists as a code inherent in its set off. It is evident that in Mark Cullen's research there is a recurring spatial investigation, the representation of figurative primaries that appear as a 3D representation of generative natural elements that are the basis of the Universe itself.
