Ai Confini dell’Arte is a crossdisciplinary project, created by Margine Operativo, which moves on the boundary lines between different artistic codes of contemporary performing arts and acts in the proximity and border areas between art and life.
It is a project attentive to the experimental processes of creation and to "open" works of art capable of relating to the contexts with which it comes into contact.
Ai Confini dell’Arte creates synergies and builds design and narrative interactions with the spaces and territories it inhabits and with the human fabric with which it relates.
Ai Confini dell’Arte is a project conceived by Margine Operativo, promoted by Roma Culture, winner of the Public Notice Simultaneously Rome 2020 - 2021 - 2022 edited by the Cultural Activities Department and is implemented in collaboration with SIAE. It is in network with the Batti Il Tuo Tempo Evolution youth center, the Cittadini del Mondo Intercultural Library, the Sottosopra project / pub and the Rose Blu cooperative.
Ai Confini dell'Arte brings together artists and projects of the contemporary scene to produce through participatory processes and six free WORKSHOPS, aimed at the Under 30s - which will take place in Rome from 5 November - of the works, performances and artistic actions that they are confronted with a theme of the present and the future: “borders / trespassing”. Where the "border" is not only a sign that separates and divides, but also a common line, and the crossing over is a process of encounter and comparison, thanks to which new paths originate.
The works and artistic actions created during the workshops will be publicly presented during the ARTISTIC EVENTS which will take place on 4,11,12,13 December.
During the artistic events, to strengthen the knowledge of the artists involved in the project and the trajectories of contemporary performance arts, focuses are planned with presentations of books / works / videos / performance actions and meetings with the public.... read the rest of the article»
Ai Confini dell’Arte, now in its fifth edition, was born as a further step in the path of the artistic group Margine Operativo of reflection / action / research on the possible combinations between contemporary artistic codes, spaces (physical and virtual) and spectators. Research that Margine Operativo has been continuing for years with its own theatrical and video productions and with the multidisciplinary festival Multiples Crossings which since 2001 has been part of particular locations in the metropolis of Rome.

WORKSHOPS AND ARTISTIC EVENTS ARE FREE
For the WORKSHOPS - free and aimed at young people aged 15 to 30 -

To participate in workshops and artistic events

(the legislation does not apply to children under 12)
