Digital Antibodies

Through the works of Danilo Correale, Irene Fenara and Invernomuto (Simone Bertuzzi and Simone Trabucchi), the Digital Antibodies focus (at MAXXI from 7 December 2022 to 26 February 2022, in Sala Gian Ferrari) – curated by Ilaria Bonacossa, Director of the National Museum of Digital Art, Milan with Eleonora Farina, curator of MAXXI Arte – investigates the relationship between our “digitalised” bodies and contemporary reality, in the conviction that art is still capable of offering a space of freedom from the "productive dictatorship" of technology, today omnipresent in our daily life and in our interpersonal relationships. The result of close collaboration between MAXXI, the National Museum of XXI Century Arts and the National Museum of Digital Art, the exhibition stimulates the public to look at reality and technology critically, shedding light on how algorithms, data collection and their social and cultural manipulation, revealing the paradox of a humanity that seems to increasingly surrender its subjectivity to the dictatorship of machines.
