GAMeC - Galleria d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea Bergamo

The GAMeC - Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art of Bergamo is one of the centers of excellence of art in northern Italy.

By receiving donations and promoting acquisitions, the Museum develops its own Permanent Collection, divided into several main groups:

- the Spajani Collection, consisting of about forty masterpieces of modern art (among others, works by Balla, Boccioni, de Chirico, Kandinskij, Morandi)
- the Manzù Collection, donated by the sculptor to the city of Bergamo, which includes sculptures, paintings, drawings and engravings
- the Stucchi Collection, consisting of about twenty paintings that take stock of European art between the fifties and sixties, with particular reference to the masters of the Informal
To these are added paintings by masters of the thirties, including Sironi, and works by contemporary artists: Alviani, Basilico, Beecroft, Cattelan, Cucchi, Fabre, Man, Vitone, Xhafa.

Finally, the heritage of GAMeC is enriched by the collection of contemporary medals donated by Vittorio Lorioli, by the Nino Zucchelli Fund and Archive and by the Lanfranco Colombo Photographic Collection.
