The permanent collection of the MACTE Museum was created around the works acquired through the Termoli Prize. The Termoli Prize was born in 1955 as a contemporary art prize and has established itself year after year among Italian artists and art critics.
Currently the collection includes over 470 works, mostly painted on canvas, but also sculptural works, made with a variety of techniques and materials. Among the artists in the collection: Carla Accardi, Mirella Bentivoglio, Dadamaino, Tano Festa, Achille Perilli, Gastone Novelli, Mario Schifano, Giulio Turcato and Giuseppe Uncini.
