MAN is a permanent public institution, the only one of its kind in Sardinia, devoted to the study, conservation and promotion of modern and contemporary art.
A corpus of about 500 works, in continuous growth, which includes the most important authors in the history of Sardinian art, including Antonio Ballero, Giuseppe Biasi, Francesco Ciusa, Mario Delitala, Carmelo Floris, Maria Lai, Mauro Manca , Costantino Nivola and many others. The collection also includes a significant collection of drawings and ceramics by Salvatore Fancello and the graphic work of Giovanni Pintori. Pending the conclusion of the extension works of the museum, the works of the MAN collection are visible in rotation within the exhibition spaces, each time rearranged according to different criteria, with both thematic paths and dedicated to individual personalities.
